Martha Farlow [Needham High School '28]

"Martha is professionally dedicated to make a better world through her role as the Senior Director of Policy, Office of Accountable Care and Behavioral Health  at MassHealth, In that position she oversees Massachusetts’ Medicaid managed and accountable care program, serving over one-third of the population of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, approximately 2.3 million people. During her tenure at MassHeath, she has facilitated  “ efforts to move primary care away from fee-for-service incentives” towards “ones more supportive of equity” and ““account for not just medical but social risk”. Martha’s accomplishments have been recognized  with the Eugene H Rooney Jr Public Service Award, and  the Geiger Gibson Award, honoring  ‘emerging leaders’ in community health."
